As a Latina and military spouse, I specialize in supporting Latino adults and military spouses.

I can help you sort through all your emotions with compassion, and provide collaborative solutions. I’m genuine, culturally competent, and sincerely interested in you.

My philosophy and approach

To tell your story is vulnerable, and to listen is a privilege; it’s important to choose a therapist who helps you feel safe, seen and understood.

My approach to therapy is relaxed, collaborative in nature, solution-focused and warm. I believe that healing works when we tackle the hard stuff, and I encourage you to bring all your thoughts and feelings to the session.

How I can uniquely help

Due to my training in education and psychology, I’m able to break down complex ideas and concepts, so you can you see and understand yourself more clearly.

I’ll help you tap into and name your thoughts and feelings, and discover their origins; I’ll translate your experiences through a psychological lens, so you can understand yourself and others better, and hopefully experience a sense of relief.

I work with adults of all ages, backgrounds and genders, and specialize in supporting Latino adults and military spouses.

We’ll work well together if you’re introspective, thoughtful, and interested in finding solutions to improve your quality of life.

Therapy for Latino Clients

I am fluent in Spanish, and understand the intersection of culture and mental health for the Latino community in the United States. I understand the ways in which culture informs our views of ourselves and the world, and the complex challenges of navigating multiple cultures across generations. My research has explored the intersection of culture and education. I welcome clients of all backgrounds and incorporate discussions of cultural values in my work.
