Deployment Coaching for Spouses

Deployments can bring out the worst in us—but, I can help.

I can help you reorganize your emotions, get settled, and feel like yourself again during this tough time. Spouses or partners, who are home, constantly bear the load of keeping everything “together”. I can partner with you during deployment, so you feel less alone.

I understand the obstacle of managing the family stress—alone—for so long. We need support and tools to get through today. The goal is to help you manage your children and your own complex emotions during deployment.

My main focus is hold space for you to vent during this taxing time, while mutually working towards a goal of survival.

Sometimes, we don’t need therapy. We need a listening ear to validate and give us strength— from someone who has been there before.

  • Gift yourself an outlet for stress

Deployments take it out of us. We are exhausted, depleted and overstimulated. We are managing and co-regulating strong emotions, lacking the time necessary to recharge. Very few people truly understand what deployment is like.

  • My personal experience inspired me to offer this service

Deployment can wreak havoc on our minds and our well being. Some of us need support because the person who usually supports us is unavailable.

My training in counseling, child development, learning, teaching, play therapy, cultural and social diversity position me as a well-rounded resource for those looking for well-informed support.

  • How I can help you navigate deployment?

Over a span of the deployment, we’ll work together to collaboratively attain your personal goals. Our conversations will help you develop a stable routine, so you can feel grounded.

    You’ll receive:

-A collaborative assessment to gain a clear understanding of what you need during the deployment

-A short-term coaching plan based on the assessment

-Weekly coaching sessions and resources to support you during deployment

You’ll walk away from coaching feeling understood, validated, and have a direction on how to navigate the future.

I look forward to hearing from you when you’re ready.
